Famous Iconic Beauty Items That Were Once Great and Now Have Cheap, Shitty Ingredients

At a time when the awareness of the importance of "Clean Beauty" and the safety of ingredients within the products we buy is greater than ever, you'd think that more and more companies would be reformulating their products to have less skin irritants.

But in fact, the opposite is true: more and more consumers are finding that the most iconic "Holy Grail" beauty items they once loved are changing their formulas and replacing the "good stuff" in them with tons of cheap ingredients that irritate their skin—even while prices of all products are raising more than ever before, usually arbitrarily without increasing the amount of product given for the price and even shrinking significantly, without notice or justifiable explanation, if any explanation.

Originally famous for being one of the best cleansers for sensitive skin, this product now contains sodium chloride which is basically the chemical name for salt, which is highly irritating to the skin. It even made me break out!
